Recenzovať split nahrávky nie je vždy jednoduché. Občas sa môže stať, že sa dostanem do situácie, kedy si sám neviem rady, ako ďalej. Môže to byť spôsobené kvalitou nahrávky. Alebo nie práve najoptimálnejšou kombináciou kapiel. Momentálne pozerám na elektronickú verziu splitka dvoch gréckych kapiel. Septuagint som nedávno recenzoval s ich ep „Negative Void Trinity.“ Akrotheism som nepoznal. Nakoľko ma Septuagint potešil, s napätím som stláčal tlačítko „play“. Po prvých tónoch prvej skladby „Syn Panti (The Great Enigma)“ ich kolegov Akrotheism, sa mi objavil široký úsmev na časti hlavy, zvanej tvár. Keby ste ma, milý čitatelia teraz videli. No, po pravde, zrejme by ste konštatovali že som na drogách.
Verím, že medzi kapelami vládnu priateľské zväzky. A táto kombinácia nevznikla len kvôli žiadosti vydavateľstva. Pretože toto z tohto dua mi plesá srdce. Skutočná hudobná slasť. To mi verte, keď sa podarí vytvoriť kvalitný split. Býva to často krát hodnotnejší hudobný zážitok ako full length album. A znova som v tranze. A mám zimomriavky. Akrotheism mi učaroval. Ich ortodoxný black metal sa plazivo mení z recitálov, cez pekelné výjazdy až po samotné rituálne evokovanie entít. No skutočne. Zožeňte si toto split. Sami sa presvedčíte. Striedanie rýchlych, stredných a až hypnotických pasáži pôsobí zlovestne a veľmi realisticky a hodnoverne. Chalani vsadili na atmosféru. Je silná ako plazivý dym oltárnych siení. Na druhej strane, technika a kvalita je skutočne kvalitná. Nestane sa, aby poslucháč počul niečo, čo tam nie je. Havraní spev, Aeona má ako bonusový level, echo. Tento prvok umocňuje dojem práve prebiehajúceho rituálu. Bicie sú pomalšie, inokedy rýchlejšie. Basa je „old school“, gitary miestami rozladeno-disharmonické. Ako celok však pôsobia prekvapivo harmonicky. Šepoty, nesväté vzývania, rituál tmy a noci. Nerútia sa ako utrhnutý vagón. Avšak drvia atmosférou a ritualizmom. Práve druhá skladba, „Tertium Dartum“ je krásna vzorka, kde sa tieto jednotlivé fragmenty spájajú. Ako by moje prsty ovládal sám osud. Sám vie, aký má so mnou zámer a myšlienky vkladali do hlavy zástupy démonov. Tancujúcich za zvuku rituálnych bubienkov a tiešacich sa zo svojich pozemských služobníkov.
Septuagint, so svojou skladbou zavŕšia tento kvalitný split disk. Nájdete aj tu všade prítomnu atmosféru temnoty. Ale, chalani sa s tým nepárajú. A ženú si to vo svojom infernálnom tempe. Zhruba do 7.minúty, kedy prichádza čas na rituálne ambientú pasáž sprevádzanú rituálnymi nástrojmi. Ale len na chvíľočku. Hneď a zaraz sa vracia v strednom tempe kázeň o tom ako ako nás Boh nemôže zotročiť a iba my sme pánmi svojej vôle a rozhodnutí. Dúfam že som to správne pochopil, nakoľko, žiaľ nemám k dispozícií texty.
Toto split si u mňa zaslúži 9 bodov z 10. Ten jeden bodík si ušetrím, aby kapely mali motiváciu nezaspať na vavrínoch a aj naďalej tvoriť takúto skvelú muziku pre vyvolených. Musím im však gratulovať. Ako Septuagint, tak Akrotheism u mňa zabodovali a budem ich tvorbu a vývoj dôkladne sledovať aj naďalej.
